2048 X 2 — mobile game

Last updated: 8 August 2026

The short version

This policy explains what happens to data when you use 2048 X 2 (the “app”), a puzzle game published by Style App (“we”, “us”). It applies to the app on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

1. Who we are

The app is published by Style App. For privacy questions, or to exercise any of the rights described below, contact styleapplication08@gmail.com.

Where data protection law applies, we act as the data controller for the limited processing described in this policy. Google acts as an independent controller for the advertising data it collects — see section 5.

2. Information you give us

None. The app has no registration, no login, no profile, and no contact form. It does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts, microphone, camera, or precise location, and it requests none of those permissions.

3. Information stored on your device

The app saves your progress locally using your device's standard app-storage mechanism. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it:

Deleting the app removes all of it. You can also erase it from inside the app at any time via Settings → Reset progress.

4. Information collected automatically

The app itself contains no analytics, crash reporting, or tracking software. The only automatic collection comes from our advertising partner, Google AdMob, which may collect and process:

DataPurpose
Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA) Selecting ads, frequency capping, measuring ad performance, detecting invalid traffic
IP address, and approximate location derived from it Serving region-appropriate ads and applying the correct privacy rules
Device and app information (model, OS version, language, app version) Formatting ads correctly and preventing fraud
Ad interaction events (an ad was shown, viewed, or tapped) Measurement and billing

The app declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission on Android for this purpose. It does not access your device's location services, browsing history, or any other app's data.

5. Advertising

The app is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. Ads appear as a banner during play, and as a full-screen or in-dialog ad when you finish a level.

Google processes the data in section 4 as an independent controller. How Google uses data from apps that use its services is described in Google's partner policy and its privacy policy.

Consent (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app shows a consent form on first launch using Google's User Messaging Platform, before any ad is requested. You choose whether to allow personalised ads.

You can change that choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options inside the app. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised — selected from general context rather than from an advertising profile.

Legal bases

6. What we do not do

7. Your choices and rights

Everyone

EEA / UK

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because we hold no data about you and cannot identify you, requests concerning advertising data are best directed to Google using the links in section 5. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Serving personalised ads may qualify as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA. You can opt out by declining personalised ads in the app's consent settings, or by enabling “Limit Ad Tracking” / resetting your advertising ID at the device level. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.

8. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact styleapplication08@gmail.com and we will act on it promptly.

9. Data retention

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Game data lives on your device until you erase it or uninstall the app. Advertising data is retained by Google according to its own retention policies.

10. Security

Game data stays in your device's private app storage, protected by your operating system. Ad requests are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, but because the app stores nothing sensitive and transmits no personal data to us, the exposure is minimal by design.

11. International transfers

Google may process advertising data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, using the safeguards described in its privacy policy. We ourselves transfer no data.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes or as the law requires. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be reflected in an app update, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
